Terrorists Have a Friend in the White House

June 14th, 2009

Our President spoke to the Arab world the other day. I didn’t listen to it live because it would have been three a.m. I really don’t care what this President says, because so far, it’s “do as I say, not as I do”. This came from Jerusalem Post and it’s what the Middle East says about him.

Palestinian Affairs: Our man in Washington?

‘For the first time, we feel we have a friend in the White House.” This is what a Palestinian Authority official in Ramallah had to say this week, after listening to US President Barack Obama’s address to Arabs and Muslims from Cairo.

It goes on.

Obama has apparently also won the hearts and minds of some Islamic fundamentalist groups. Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal heaped praise on him, because he had refrained from calling “resistance attacks” against Israel “terrorism.”
“Obama is talking in a new language, one that is different from the voice we used to hear from the previous US administration,” Mashaal said in an interview with the Palestinian daily Al-Kuds. “Obama avoided branding our resistance operations terrorism, but he made a mistake when he compared the situation of the Palestinians to that of blacks in America.”

I’m speechless. The story speaks for itself. Let’s sit around the camp fire and sing Kumbaya.

Obama on the Pirates

April 12th, 2009

Would you actually believe I agree with the Huffington Post? Is the Huffington Post changing or is it me?

Obama On Pirates: Declines To Answer Question
…the president was asked by a reporter if he were concerned about the piracy incident.

Obama responded: “Guys, we’re talking about housing right now.”

Reporters were then ushered out of the room as they usually are after such events.

So much for openness and transparency. Only reporters that play nice and ask the right questions will be answered.

I love this one comment from HP on the same story:

Obama won’t comment because, truth be told, piracy fits right in with his philosophy on redistribution of wealth. This is simply a tax on evil corporations funding third world aid.

Barbara West Gets Tough With Joe

October 27th, 2008

Barbara West gets too tough with Joe Biden about the spread the wealth issue from Barack Obama. The agenda is beginning to show that in the Obama administration questions will not be allowed.

Barack Obama cuts TV station’s cord over Joe Biden grilling
ORLANDO, Fla. – Barack Obama’s campaign has pulled the plug on a Florida news station’s access to the presidential candidate after an anchorwoman angered Joe Biden with uncomfortable questions during a satellite interview.

WFTV-Channel 9 anchorwoman Barbara West quizzed Sen. Biden about Obama’s intention to “spread the wealth,” referring to the Democratic White House contender’s comments to “Joe the Plumber.”

She compared Obama’s comments to the socialist doctrine of Karl Marx then asked Biden, “How is Sen. Obama not being a Marxist if he intends to ‘spread the wealth?’ ”

It’s Not About Race

October 26th, 2008

Not at all, absolutely not. African-American voters are voting for Obama because of the issues. Because Obama has the answer and the policies they care about.

This is from the Howard Stern Show on Sirius Satellite Radio. Howard Stern sent someone to Harlem in New York City to ask Black people about Barack Obama’s policies.

October Surprise?

October 11th, 2008

This rumor has been around for awhile. Even when the birth certificate was produced it was a little suspect. A talk show host who was born in Honolulu around the same time as Obama says his birth certificate looks nothing like Obama’s, he even requested another one from the state to check if the certificate was different if you ordered it later online.

The media let this one go and has moved on. This isn’t going to do anything to the election and from now on everything about this will be swept so far under the carpet, nothing will ever be said about this again. I didn’t even make the connection between factcheck.org being by the Annenberg foundation when it says Annenberg right on their front page. It’s possible that they are not even connected. Looking at them separately you can’t tell the if the Annenberg that’s connected to the University of Pennsylvania and Washington DC are connected to the Annenberg in Obama’s Chicago. If that was true you would think someone would have picked up on it by now.

Democrats Covering up for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

September 29th, 2008

And these people are the ones that are going to fix the problem? Back in 2004 a hearing about trying to get some more oversight or regulation over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and the Democrats saying there’s nothing wrong.

Obama, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

September 29th, 2008

What a cozy little family. Obama is number two in contributions and he’s only been in the Senata a couple of years. The swearing in ceremony for the congressional black caucus, why is the CEO of Fannie Mae there?

Palin for VP

August 29th, 2008

What a difference in Sarah Palin’s speech than Joe Biden’s. Biden was all about how bad the other side is. Palin’s speech was how great America is. Even giving credit to Hillary Clinton with cheers from the audience instead of the audience the democrats usually get where any mention of anyone on the other side results in boos.

Too bad the VP doesn’t have more responsibility once they start in Washington. Will it make a difference? Who knows. Women aren’t going to vote for a woman just because she’s a woman, just like blacks aren’t going to vote for Obama just because he’s black. Oh, wait… nevermind.

Pawlenty or Romney?

August 28th, 2008

As of today McCain is rumored to announce his VP pick on Friday (29th). Front runners are the Minnesota Governor or the ex-Massachusetts Governor. I voted for Romney in the Primaries and was surprised he didn’t do very well after the Democrats voted for McCain in Florida because their own primary was worthless. After Florida the media helped propel the McCain train and Huckabee didn’t help either.

McCain Romney

Now Romney is in the running for VP. I’m not sure that would convince me to vote for McCain. McCain will still be the President and McCain doesn’t have to implement or even listen to any of Romney’s ideas, he definitely needs to. Would Romney lose face if he loses the election with McCain? What happens if the McCain administration is a failure, the economy failure and especially the immigration failure he wants to implement. Romney would be associated with a loser either way.

McCain Pawlenty

Romney would give McCain credibility about the economy whether he listens to him or not. What does Pawlenty bring to the table? Minnesota? That’s a big battleground state already filled with mostly liberals, not sure choosing their Governor will persuade any of them to vote Republican the first time in many years. They can’t count on winning Minnesota just because their Governor is on the ticket.

Pawlenty is a young centrist in the Republican party and would counter McCain’s age, but Pawlenty is an unknown to the rest of the country, he needs someone with name recognition to counter Obama’s high speed media train.
